Community Theater, '90s Boy Band Concert Highlight Week Ahead in NE Queens

Monday

The Samuel Field Y, located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway, is offering a Veterans Day mini camp for local youths that will include a visit to Brooklyn's Puppetworks. Drop-off for the camp begins at 8 a.m.

Thursday

The Sacred Heart JOBO Center, located at 215-35 38th Ave., will host a screening of the documentary film "A Place at the Table" at 7:30 p.m. The film, which is narrated by Jeff Bridges, focuses on child hunger.

Friday

The Douglaston Community Theater will perform John Morgan Evans' "Daughters" at 8 p.m. as well as at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Zion Episcopal Church, located at 243-01 Northern Blvd. in Douglaston.

Saturday

Boy bands All-4-One and Color Me Badd will perform at 8 p.m. at Queensborough Community College's Performing Arts Center, located at 222-05 56th Ave. in Bayside.

Kaplan Test Prep is holding free SAT and ACT practice tests at 9 a.m. at Queens College's Student Union Building.

Theatre By the Bay is presenting a performance of "Guys and Dolls" at 8 p.m. at the Bay Terrace Jewish Center, located at 13-00 209th St.

Sunday

The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble will play QCC's performing arts center, located at 222-05 56th Ave. in Bayside, at 3 p.m.
