Samuel Field Y to Host Veterans Day Trip, Thanksgiving for Adults with Disabilities
The Y will take children to a puppet show on Nov. 11 and hold a Thanksgiving event on Nov. 24.
Little Neck’s Samuel Field Y will hold an upcoming day trip for Veterans Day and a Thanksgiving celebration for adults with disabilities.
The Y, located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway, will lead a trip to Brooklyn's Puppetworks on Veterans Day, which is Nov.11, for a live puppet performance of “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp.”
Drop off for the event begins at 8 a.m. and all children must be picked up that evening by 6 p.m. Children should bring a packed lunch with them.

And, for Thanksgiving, the Y is hosting a celebration for adults with disabilities and their families on Nov. 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A contribution of $5 per family is suggested as well as a donation of fresh produce.
