Inspirational speaker Lucille O'Neal will discuss her new book "Walk Like You Have Somewhere to Go," at the college. As the proud mother of longtime NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, she will share her personal story of overcoming a childhood of poverty, abuse, alcohol addiction, spiritual unrest, and other personal struggles. Audiences will also be uplifted at her testimony of surpassing her blighted background by graduating from Bethune-Cookman University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Adult Education Program. In addition, she completed her master's degree at the University of Phoenix.
