Deadline: Last Week for Submissions to Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest

Submit your entry to a Halloween essay and drawing contest sponsored by Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside). Elementary students, from second through fifth graders, are invited to participate. The entry should describe the student's favorite trick-or-treat experience or explain why the student chose his or her Halloween costume. A winner will be selected in each grade. District-wide prizes will be awarded. All students who participate will receive a New York State Certificate of Merit.

The contest deadline for submissions is November 1.
