Menorah Lightings and Chanukah Celebrations in Northeast Queens

Find out where Chanukah-related events are taking place in the coming weeks in your community.

Chanukah begins this year on Nov. 27 and lasts through Dec. 5.

One of the holiday’s traditions is the lighting of the Menorah, a nine-branched candelabrum that celebrates the “Feast of Lights.” It commemorates the miracle of the oil in which one day’s supply lasted eight days.

Patch has provided a list of local Menorah lightings and Chanukah services that will be taking place in your community during the next few weeks.
