St. Robert Bellarmine Parish’s Monsignor Martin T. Geraghty will lead the opening prayer.

The event will include refreshments, music, a visit by Santa Claus and a performance of holiday songs by P.S. 203’s 5th grade chorus, “Les Chanteurs.”

The civic will print song sheets and select volunteers at the event to lead attendees in singing Christmas carols and Chanukah songs.

Michael Feiner, the civic’s president, said participants will also help to decorate the group’s Christmas tree.

"I enjoy it immensely," Feiner said of the holiday lighting, which the civic has been hosting for 15 years. "To see all the delighted faces of our children and their parents as well as our guests makes the effort most worthwhile."
