Bayside's Fort Totten Hosts Walks Along Michael's Mile on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Northeast Queens residents looking to lose weight without spending money should step out and join the free fitness walk hosted every Tuesday and Thursday by the city's Parks Department at Fort Totten.

At 9 a.m., walkers begin winding their way along an esplanade between Fort Totten and the Bayside Marina that is known as Michael’s Mile.

Attendees can take part in a variety of exercise activities, such as lunges, arm pick-ups, squats and other toning exercises.
