Girls Tennis Clinic for High School and Middle School Players

Mayotte Hurst Tennis Academy Offers Tennis Clinic for Girls Middle School
and High School Tennis Player on November 2 from 4-6 pm at Cunningham Park

All girls middle school and high school tennis players are invited to a free clinic by former ATP Top 10 player and Olympic Silver Medalist Tim Mayotte on Saturday November 2 from 4-6 pm at Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows.  For more information or to register, call 718-740-6800 or visit www.cunninghamtenniscenter.com.

The free event is only open to girls (ages 11-17) who played on their school tennis team this fall or last spring.  Players are encouraged to wear their school tennis shirts for admission into the clinic.  Parents and coaches are also invited to attend for a presentation on their role in player development.

With the combined talents of Mayotte, Lee Hurst, Dominic Mabouti and other top coaches, the Mayotte Hurst Tennis Academy is built upon developing four areas of the player: mental, technical, tactical and fitness.  The training methodology is focused on the intention of practice, rather than just the number of balls hit.

A native of Springfield, MA, Mayotte burst upon the pro tennis scene in 1981 when he capture the NCAA Men's Singles Championship while at Stanford University.  During an impressive career "Gentleman Tim" captured 12 ATP singles titles from 1981-90.

The Cunningham Sports Center offers 10 championship hard courts that are bubbled from October through April for year-round play.
