The dockMore at Douglas Manor has been a popular swimming locale during the summer for decades. The group's membership includes more than 600 homes in Douglas Manor, which was included in the city's landmarking of Douglaston in 1997. The association's office is located along 41st Avenue near the Douglaston Long Island Rail Road Station.

The Douglaston/Little Neck Historical Society has been fighting to preserve and collect artifacts from its twoMore northeastern Queens communities since 1989. Julia Schoeck is the president of the society, which she operates from her Douglaston home. The group's collection of photographs, maps, booklets and memorabilia can be viewed at the Bayside Historical Society's site at Fort Totten, located at 208 Totten Avenue. The society is currently in the process of obtaining its own charter from the state of New York. The organization hosts educational programs, house tours and galas. 
Douglaston Park Golf Course

The Douglaston Park Golf Course was created in 1927 and purchased by the city's Department of Parks and Recreation inMore 1962. The city now operates the park as an 18-hole golf course.

The course, which is located next door to the Douglaston Manor banquet hall, is aimed at beginner and intermediate golfers. 

Visitors pay $36 during weekday mornings and $31 after noon. Carts are $20 per person. The course also offers a senior rate at $18.25. 

The park also includes a restaurant, lessons, clinics, a locker room and a clubhouse.
