It takes many hours to charge a battery. You can not take a trip and wait to recharge your battery…Read More for several hours each time it runs down. Second you could not build enough charging stations for the number of cars that they are proposing to put on the road. The concept is ridiculous. The future is a network of battery exchange stations. The depleted battery will be exchanged for a fully charged battery in 10-15 minutes. . .

There is a…Read More smaller parking lot in Little Bay Park directly under the Throgs Neck Bridge, which is situated off of the service road for the Cross Island Parkway from 212th Street to Utopia Pkwy. Auto traffic is not allowed in Fort Totten.

Thank you for coming out to support the Little Bay Park Comfort Station groundbreaking ceremony organized by State Senator Tony Avella in spite of the gusty wind and cold. Although NYC Parks chose not to hold an official groundbreaking ceremony for the community (as often occurs at the commencement of capital projects), I really appreciated that community leaders of Bay Terrace and the surrounding Northeast Queens neighborhoods came out to support the long waited start of the project.
