Deepdale Gardens Apartments

This is a cooperative apartment complex that consists of 69 buildings on 60 acres of land. The apartments range in size up to 5 1/2 rooms and are located within NYC school district 26. Maintenance charges run from about $546 a month for a 3 1/2 room apartment to $752 a month for a 5 1/2 room unit. The charges include gas, electric, heat and security. There is a limit on the number of occupants that can live in the units  and the Board of Shareholders mandates minimum income requirements and various forms of approval before purchase. The complex has won numerous awards over the years for affordability and quality of life.
