Northeast Queens Agenda: Snapper Derby, Painting Technique Class
The Bayside Marina will hold its annual fishing event for kids on Aug. 24.
The Bayside Marina will host its 13th annual Snapper Derby at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The event, which is aimed at children of all ages, will teach local youths to fish and provide them with equipment. A free pizza lunch, raffles and prizes are also included.
The National Art League, located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway, will teach Painting Techniques for All Levels on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
And Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will host its monthly Shabbat morning experience at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
