Totten Trot, Yoga Babies Highlight Week Ahead in Northeast Queens

Tuesday

The Queens Dance Project, located at 214-26 41st Ave. in Bayside, will host yoga babies for infants, ages 6 months to one year, at 10 a.m. The class will repeat for children, ages 1 to 2 years, at 11 a.m.

Thursday

Queens Quiet Skies will hold an information session on ongoing airplane noise over northeast Queens at 7:45 p.m. at the Church on the Hill, located at 167-07 35th Ave. in Flushing.

Friday

Brian Woodruff's OKB Trio will perform jazz music at Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. at 8 p.m. The show is $15 for town hall members and $10 for students. 

Saturday

There will be a Soul Picnic Rocking Halloween Bash at Sheehan's Bar and Grill, located at 171-57 46th Ave. in Flushing, at 9 p.m. The event will include cocktail specials, prizes for Halloween contests, live music and half price appetizers.

Sunday

The Bayside Historical Society will host its 12th annual Totten Trot that kicks off from the castle at Fort Totten, located at 208 Totten Ave. in Bayside. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. Prizes for the first three places will be $75, $50 and $25.
