Candidates Forum, Brewery Launch Highlight Week in Northeast Queens

Also, the Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will kick off the high holidays and CDEC 26 will meet.

Monday

Bayside's Bourbon Street, located at 40-12 Bell Blvd., and Queens Brewery will launch a new brewery. The event will feature $4 pints.

Tuesday

The Bay Terrace Community Alliance will hold a candidates forum at the Bay Terrace Jewish Center, located at 13-00 209th St., at 7 p.m. Attendees will include all six candidates for Dan Halloran's City Council seat as well as mayoral contenders Christine Quinn, Anthony Weiner, Joe Lhota and John Catsimatidis.

Thursday

Community District Education Council 26 will hold its August meeting at 8 p.m. in the first floor teacher's room at P.S. 173, located at 174-10 67th Ave.

Saturday

The Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center, located at 49-10 Little Neck Parkway, will kick off the high holidays at 7 p.m. Selicot service is at 11 p.m.
