Douglaston Church to Host Blood Drive on June 19
Community Church of Douglaston will hold drive for four hours Tuesday afternoon.
The Community Church of Douglaston is hosting a blood drive from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 19.
Those interested in giving to the Richard D. Lynch Memorial Blood Drive should call either 718-229-2169 or 917-324-9854 to make an appointment.
Attendees should bring an ID with a signature or a photo. Participants must weigh at least 110 pounds and be between the ages of 16 and 75 years. But 16-year-olds must have parental permission and those over the age of 76 years must bring a doctor's note.

Those giving blood should eat low-fat foods and drink plenty of fluids prior to their appointment.
Persons who have gotten tattoos within the past 12 months will not be able to give blood.
