MTA Releases Holiday Bus, Subway and LIRR Schedules
Find information on schedule changes for Dec. 24 and 25.
The city's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has released its subway, bus and Long Island Rail Road schedules for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
For Dec. 24, subways will operate on a regular weekday schedule, while the LIRR and Metro-North Railroad will offer extra afternoon trains to help with early departure getaways from Manhattan.
City buses and express buses will operate on weekday schedules with minor timing changes.
On Dec. 25, subways and buses will operate on a Sunday schedule, while the LIRR and Metro-North will operate on a special holiday schedule. For more information, visit the MTA's Planned Service Changes section on its website.
