Bayside's Advice For Graduates

Here's what Bayside Patch readers had to say to local grads.

Ahead of the Cardozo and Bayside High School graduations next week, if there were any pieces of advice they had for graduates. Here's what they said:

Martha: "Unfortunately, it's all about who you know..."

Max: "Some people call it luck. But when preparation meets opportunity you have success."

Cmjake: "Don't worry if you aren't sure what you want to major in as for many students, that comes from courses one takes. There are professions you have never heard of that may be the one for you. "Follow your bliss." Try to become an "expert" in something you love. Integrity. Think of service and help to make the world a better place. Network, network, network. Most important - boost any low self-esteem. Read the poem: http://www.6bittersweets.com/2009/08/desiderata.htmlBest wishes."

Do you have a piece of advice too? It isn't too late to tell the class of 2012 in our comments section.
