Registration Will Soon Close for Spring Soccer, Baseball and Softball

Little Neck Douglaston Youth Club still signing up children for spring sports this week.

The Little Neck Douglaston Youth Club’s will close this week.

Registration will close for soccer in four days, while baseball and softball players must sign up within the next five days.

The intramural soccer league is meant for children, ages 4 and 11. The league’s teams are divided up into different age groups. The fee is $95.

A child’s date of birth will determine in which league they will be placed.

Children, ages 5 and 6, will play in the Pee Wee league, while 7 and 8-year-olds will be placed in the AA Division.

The Minor Division is for ages 9 and 10, while the Major Division is for 11 and 12-year-olds.

Youths, ages 13 and 14, will play in the Pony Division.

For softball, girls between the ages of 8 and 10 will be placed in the Minor Division, while 11 and 12-year-olds will play in the Major Division.

The fee for the girls’ divisions is $100, which includes a visor.
