JETS VS. PATS: Where To Watch

The stakes couldn't be higher for Gang Green. Starting at 4:30 this afternoon, the New York Jets take on the New England Patriots in the latest bout in a feud at least as old as Pats coach Bill Belichick. 

So why take the chance of getting kicked out of the living room by irate non-football fans looking for a little bit of peace and quiet? Instead, here is a list of area watering holes showing this marquee matchup on screens large, large-ish and larger than small:

1. Bourbon Street Cafe, 40-12 Bell Blvd., Bayside. Despite its name, this Bourbon Street definitely bleeds green, not black and gold. And for what might be the Jets' biggest game this season short of a Super Bowl, the bar is pulling out all the stops. The $40 admission (plus tax and gratuity) gets fans access to a full buffet, mixed drinks and beer and of course, the big game shown on almost-as-big screen. Pre-game action begins at 3:30 p.m. 

2. Pat's Little Neck Inn, 251-03 Northern Blvd., Little Neck. Area residents have been pulling up a bar stool at this to watch the Jets, Giants and, dare I say, the Patriots all season. And at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the big game, there's no indication that they're going to stop with today's AFC division playoff game.

3. Strawberry's Sports Grill, 42-15 235th St., Douglaston. No word yet on whether the Straw will be in attendance to root for Gang Green. But there's sure to be plenty of other fans keeping the seats warm at what has become the area's .

4. Brian Dempsey's American Grill, 39-31 Bell Blvd., Bayside. Watch the game on one of no fewer than 20 TVs at this well-apportioned bar and restaurant on the short-list of many residents, politicians and at least one .
