The Urban Park Rangers, of the NYC Parks and Recreation, will show participants how to distinguish various types of trees in Fort Totten Park on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 1:00 p.m. Attendees will learn about the differences in the trees while they are bare, without any leaves. This free event is open to anyone interested. Dress accordingly as this is, needless to say, an outdoor event.
