Enjoy a nostalgic afternoon listening to the great stories, rousing opinions, and accumulated experiences of Jimmy Breslin, Robert Lipsyte, and Murray Polner - three of New York's most irrepressible and engaging writers, on Sunday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saddle Rock School Auditorium, 10 Hawthorne Lane (off of Bayview Avenue). The authors will talk about baseball, sports, New York, the stories they've covered, the intrigue they've uncovered, and Branch Rickey, who made history with Jackie Robinson by integrating major league baseball in 1947.
