Family Camping is an Urban Park Rangers organized event, set to take place in Cunningham Park, on Saturday, August 27, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Families, of 4, will be given tents and food for the night, to camp out in the park. Those interested in participating must register at http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_about/parks_divisions/urban_park_rangers/pd_ur_program_registration.html, as families will be chosen by lottery, since space is limited. If chosen, all you have to bring is your sleeping bag!
