The Dick Lynch Turkey Trot is a 5K run that will take place Thanksgiving Day. Interested runners should arrive at 7:30 am to register, while viewers can arrive a little later as the run isn't set to start until 9:00 am. All are welcome to join this charitable event. All proceeds will go to Douglaston Village Chamber of Commerce. Children get to run for free. Adults must pay $20. Those looking to participate must register online at the Web site provided. There will also be a raffle for Giants tickets.
