Basic Canoeing will take place at Fort Totten Park, on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. Participants will learn about canoeing by Urban Park Rangers, through the hands-on experience of this event. Kids ages 8 and older will be able to participate. Registration is not required for this free, yet exhilarating, activity. Simply, meet inside Fort Totten Park at Totten Road and the Cross Island Parkway.
