Bottom Line:

Bayside Head Coach Steve Piorkowski encourages teamwork and sportsmanship, and the results could be felt on the court. Communication played a major factor in Bayside’s punch for punch victory, something that wasn’t so noticeable with Edison’s players.

The team spoke with each other often, at times directing attention to coach Piorkowski for his enthusiastic game winning advice

Quotable:

“Winning feels good” remarked Coach Pieorkowski who credited the hard fought victory to great team-work and excellent communication. “The girl’s work well together.” He added, “We may have won, but we made a few mistakes, and there’s still a lot to learn here.”
