Are You Running the NYC Marathon?

Thousands of runners will endure a grueling 26.2 mile trek through each of the city's boroughs. Will you be one of them?

On Sunday morning, thousands of runners from all over the world will convene on Staten Island for the ING New York City Marathon, one of the most popular running events on Earth.

The 26.2 mile course will stretch through all five boroughs, with the finish line located in Central Park. Runners will touch Queens soil around the 13-mile mark when they cross the Pulaski Bridge from Greenpoint, and will make their way through Long Island City before heading into Manhattan.

If you're participating in this year's marathon - or know someone who is - we'd love to hear from you. Email your running glamor shots, finish time or just thoughts about your experience to LaurenE@patch.com.
