Alley Pond Golf Center to Reopen May 1
Popular Douglaston driving range is being upgraded by new concessionaire.
The will reopen with upgraded facilities on May 1, according to a sign posted outside the driving range.
The center to allow the site's new concessionaire to make repairs to the site, city Department of Parks and Recreation Spokesman Philip Abramson said.
The upgrade includes the installation of new netting and the replacement of turf along the driving range.
