UFT Taking Scholarship Applications for Annual District 26 Dinner Dance
Students will be awarded scholarships during event in May.
The United Federation of Teachers is now taking applications for scholarships that will be presented at the eighth annual dinner dance for District 26 in May.
The scholarship dinner dance will be held by the UFT and Council of Supervisors and Administrators on May 22 at the Inn at New Hyde Park, located at 214 Jericho Turnpike.
Scholarship winners will be presented with a check valued up to $1,000 during the event.

At least 100 copies of the application have been sent to schools in District 26, which covers Bayside, Douglaston and Little Neck.
To make special menu requests, such as kosher or vegetarian selections, contact Ilene Rivera at P.S. 203.
