St. Mary's Preschool Program Toddlers Graduate

Kids from the St. Mary's Preschool Program for kids with special needs celebrate a year of educational experiences.

Students of the St. Mary's Preschool Program celebrated their educational accomplishments of the past year with a graduation on Monday, August 15.

Thirty students, dressed to impress and adorned with graduation sashes, received their preschool diplomas, as parents watched and cheered them on.

Along with receiving diplomas, the kids gave a crowd pleasing rendition of such school day regulars as “Wheels on the Bus,” “Down on Grandpa’s Farm,” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”

Director of Early Education at St. Mary's, Jean Steins, said the graduating class, comprised of kids within the community, as well as St. Mary's inpatient program, "worked extremely hard to meet all of their goals and they really deserved to be honored by staff, parents, and everyone at St. Mary’s.”
