Seven Northeast Queens Students Make Dean's Lists

Students from Bayside, Douglaston and Little Neck are honored for academic achievements.

Two students from Bayside, one from Douglaston and four from Little Neck were placed on the dean’s list at their colleges for their academic performance last fall.

Bayside’s Cassandra Doepfner and James Maguire both made the list at the University of Scranton. To make the list, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average.

Doepfner is a freshman nursing major, while Maguire, a junior secondary education student, is a citizenship/history major.

Douglaston’s Lauren Ottulich was named to Quinnipiac University’s list. To make the list, a student must earn a 3.5 average and complete at least 12 credits per semester.

Kathleen Modica, a junior English major from Little Neck, was placed on Sienna College’s dean’s list. Students must have a 3.5 average to make the list.

Three students from Little Neck – Kathleen Derienzo, Jennifer McCabe and Margaret McCabe – made Sacred Heart University’s list. To make that list, students must earn a 3.6 average.
