Local Students Make Dean's Lists

Four students from Little Neck are honored for their grade point averages.

Four Little Neck students have been named to the University of Albany’s dean’s list, while another from the community made SUNY Cortland’s list.

The University of Albany announced that Madeline Cohen, Richard Lee, Carly Shaw and Stephen Tam all made the list for the fall of 2011. All four students are from Little Neck.

Samantha Ward, a senior Childhood Education major from Little Neck, was named to SUNY Cortland’s list for the fall.

Students must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above and complete at least 12 credit hours of classes to make the list.
