The Musuem Explorers Club - In the Studio for Families affected by Autism

“The Museum Explorers Club”: In the Studio a program for Families Affected by Autism
We invite you to join us for a family program at the Queens Museum of Art designed exclusively for you:
Register for Saturday morning sessions to learn about exploring the various types of art making in the museum studio. Learn how to view art with your children. Families will have an opportunity to make art in the studio. Exploration and play will help bridge connections to the artwork and build community. Groups will be made-up of 3-4 families affected by autism. Feel free to include parents, grandparents, and siblings when registering for the workshop. The only requirement is that all registered guests must make art! Parents will be encouraged to provide feedback during the pilot program at the museum that might contribute to the quality of our programming for families with special needs.
Workshop Dates: Saturdays 1/22, 2/5, 2/19, 3/12, 3/26, 2011
Time: 11am-12pm
