Oscar award winning Hollywood producer Jon Landau will discuss the movie-making secrets of the film "Avatar" along with the future of films. The iconic producer has recently been tapped to sit on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for Congress's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Sustainable Digital Preservation and Access.
Landau has produced the movies "Avatar" and "Titanic," which both hold the top records for the highest grossing movies of all time. He has also produced the films "Solaris," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," and co-produced "Dick Tracy." Landau held an esteemed position, in the 1990's, as Executive Vice President of Twentieth Century Fox where he supervised production on films including "Die Hard 2," "Mrs. Doubtfire," and "True Lies." In addition, he has won two Golden Globe awards.
