Swamiji is the founder of Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog.  He is a world-renowned teacher of Yoga, Meditation and Spirituality.  He received his degrees in Engineering and Management from two world famous professional institutes in India, namely IIT and IIM.  However, the call of God was so strong that even after landing a top corporate job, he renounced the professional career in the quest for God-realization.  Swamiji is the senior disciple of Shri Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj, and the founder of JKYog. He has inspired people all over the world, on the path of spirituality, holistic health, yoga, meditation, service to society, and God-realization. He has been invited to speak at various Fortune 500 companies like Google, Oracle, etc. For the youth, Swamiji has conducted programs at prestigious universities such as Princeton, Stanford, Kellogg, MIT, and Duke University. For the children, he has established a special personality development program, called "Bal-Mukund Character Building Program."

Swamiji's enlightening discourses clarify the deepest concepts of the Vedic scriptures, with wit, humor, and perfect logic. Alongside with the discourses, in the Wellness for Life camps, he teaches the comprehensive system "Yoga for the Body, Mind and Soul."

The local, fresh fruit and vegetable market was a worthwhile addition to Douglaston. Obviously, itRead More did not receive the support of the community, at least not enough to make it a successful venture. This is sad. Every Sunday, rain or shine, I would stop at the market and purchase something. My favorite was the bakery stand. Often, when I stopped in the afternoon I would get two FREE French breads with my purchase. Parking was never a problem. The vendors where friendly and very informative. It was a perfect setting for the picturesque nature of this community. Too bad it is not returning.

No specific reason was given other than this was at the initiative of the merchants or the market's organizers. And this..., just as we were beginning to enjoy the Long Island wines and the $34 per pound skirt steak, ordered two months in advance.
