Parents must sign up in person at their locally zoned schools between today and March 2 to apply.

Parents with children who will begin kindergarten this fall will be able to apply in person at their locally zoned school as of today, the city’s Department of Education said.

Families intending to send their children to District 26 schools in September must visit the school in person between today and March 2.

On March 19, city schools will begin to notify families about assignment offers. Once an offer has been made, parents must visit the school between March 26 and April 20 to accept and pre-register, the DOE said.
