Douglaston Student to Give Salutatorian Address at Stony Brook School

Hung-Wei 'William' Tseng will deliver speech at May 25 commencement.

A Douglaston resident will give the salutatorian speech at Stony Brook School’s 91st commencement on May 25.  

Hung-Wei “William” Tseng, a Douglaston resident, will deliver an address as the Class of 2013’s salutatorian during the 11 a.m. ceremony.  

Tseng entered the Stony Brook School in seventh grade. He competed in the varsity cross country and track and field teams. This fall, he will attend Vassar College, where he will study philosophy.  

The school will present diplomas to 66 graduates during the May 25 ceremony.  

Students from the school hail from the United States, Virgin Islands, China, Jamaica, Canada, Turkey, Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Bangladesh, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and Korea.
