Douglaston Student Makes Dean's List, Bayside Resident Graduates
Local student honored for academics at RIT, while another graduates from Hudson Valley Community College.
A student from Douglaston was recently placed on her school’s dean’s list, while a Bayside student received his diploma.
Douglaston’s Lauren Vergara, a third-year student in the media arts and technology program at Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, made the dean’s list for the spring semester.
And Bayside’s John Park graduated from the physical education studies program at Hudson Valley Community College during the school’s May 18 commencement ceremony.
