Douglaston, Little Neck Students Graduate College

A total 14 northeast Queens residents recently received their degrees.

Patch would like to congratulate 14 students from the community who recently graduated.

Douglaston’s Christopher Yung earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, while Little Neck’s Ho Chi graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Both students attended the University at Albany.

Other Douglaston graduates include Steve Cavusoglu, who received a Certificate of Advanced Study from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, and Justin Greene, who earned a B.S. in adolescence education and mathematics from SUNY College at Oneonta.

Jacqueline Smith received a B.B.A. from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and Luddy Quintero earned a Master of Public Administration from Marist College.

History major Sharon Jeon received her B.A. from Colby College, making the dean’s list, distinction in major and graduating magna cum laude. Jeon formerly attended Benjamin N. Cardozo High School.

Ivana Lee graduated from Villanova University. Cornell University graduates included Katherine Soletic, who earned a B.S. in agriculture and life sciences, Robert Patrizzo, who received his B.S. in industrial and labor relations, and Little Neck’s Steven Chung, who earned a B.S. in hotel administration.

Other Little Neck graduates included philosophy major Gregory Bekiaris, who received his B.A. from Washington and Lee University and graduated cum laude, and Samuel Yoon, who earned his B.S. in biology, economics and medicine from Union College.

Victoria Chee made the annual dean’s list. She has a leadership in medicine focus with a focus on biology and Asian studies.
