Con Artists Targeted Cardozo Students, Says School

Be wary of those claiming to offer SAT courses, warns 'Dozo

Students at Cardozo High School are being marked by phone scammers, according to an alert issued by the school. 

Callers claiming to be from an SAT course have asked students for their personal information, including credit card information and student identification numbers. The phony reps have been claiming that they would like to register the student for an SAT prep class.

However, when anyone tries to call back the number from which the rep has called, it is conveniently not in service.

Cardozo is urging students not to give out any personal information. The school would like students to report any such calls for personal information under the guise of SAT prep courses to the school, as well as .
