CDEC 26's May Meeting to Include Ballroom Dance Performance

Attendees will be able to watch a dance performance by students from three local schools and meet the district's new assistant principal.

Community District Education Council 26's May 28 meeting will include a ballroom dancing presentation by students from three local schools.

It has become a tradition that northeast Queens students dance at the council's May meeting. This year, students from Bayside's P.S. 31, Flushing's P.S. 41 and Holliswood's P.S. 178 will provide the fancy footwork.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Bayside's M.S. 74, which is located at 61-15 Oceania St.

Attendees will also be able to meet the district's newly appointed assistant principal.

CDEC 26 covers a number of northeast Queens communities, including Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Holliswood, Queens Village and a sliver of Flushing.
