Community District Education Council 26 will hold its next meeting on Aug. 29 in Fresh Meadows.
The group will gather in the first floor teacher's room at P.S. 173, located at 174-10 67th Ave., at 8 p.m.
The council's topics of discussion during the meeting are budget allocations for the upcoming school year, committee assignments for its members and a vote on phasing out toxic PVC plastic phthalates in building materials and office supplies for city schools.
Also, Mary Pisacano, network leader for CFN 205, will talk about teacher evaluations during the meeting.
