CDEC 26 to Discuss Bullying at Jan. 26 Meeting

UFT director of school safety will speak during council's meeting.

Community District Education Council 26 will hold its monthly meeting to discuss northeast Queens schools on Jan. 26 at Little Neck’s M.S. 67.

The public portion of the meeting will begin at 8 p.m.

The guest speaker will be David Kazansky, the United Federation of Teachers’ director of school safety and victim support group. He will discuss the Be BRAVE Against Bullying program.

The meeting will be held in Room B44A at M.S. 67, which is located at 51-60 Marathon Parkway.

On Feb. 15, the education council will host a at Bayside’s M.S. 74, located at 61-15 Oceania St., with Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott. That meeting will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
