Community District Education Council 26 elected its new officers during its monthly meeting last night.
Jeannette Segal was picked to replace Chairman Robert Caloras, who announced earlier this year that he would not seek a ninth year as the council’s leader.
Ricky Chan was chosen as the first vice president, while Vijayalaxmi Hegde was picked to be treasurer.

Lucy Vieco was elected as second vice president. Other council members include Michele Fields, Pankaj Kapur, Daniel John O’Gallagher and Hong Keng Tan.
Susan Shiroma is the group’s borough appointee.

The board’s current members will serve through 2013.
