Braunstein to Sponsor Halloween Essay and Drawing Contest

Entries must be submitted by Nov. 1.

Local second through fifth grade students have the chance to trade the usual book reports for something a little more festive: A Halloween essay and art contest sponsored by Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside.

Students have the option of submitting either a drawing or an essay, as long as their work hews to the Halloween theme.

District-wide prizes will be awarded to one winner per grade, and New York State Certificates of Merit will be awarded to every students that enters.
