The Finest of the Finest

Today, the good citizens of New York City mourn the tragic loss of Police Officer Peter Figoski who was killed in the line of duty early yesterday morning, according to the NY Post.

This is a devastating loss to Officer Figoski's four lovely daughters and to the men and women of the NYPD.

From all accounts Officer Figoski was a good man; a devoted father and a cops' cop. He was indeed the Finest of the Finest. 

Such a tragic loss reminds us who are served by New York's Finest, how dangerous a job it is to be a member of the NYPD. We should never take for granted the service and sacrifice made by these extraordinary men and women, who protect us from the evils ever present in society. 

Please keep Officer Figoski and his family in your prayers. We owe him a debt that can never be repaid.  Help support the college fund set up by the NY Post for his daughters. 

Let's make sure the dreams this fine man had for his girls come true.
