Tonight: Meng, Halloran Debate in Middle Village

Candidates for Sixth Congressional District will face off during debate tonight.

Several local races will be put under the microscope at the Juniper Park Civic Association meeting Thursday night, including the race for New York's Sixth Congressional District.

Residents will have a chance to watch and participate in a debate between the candidates in two of the most hotly contested races in the borough.

The event, which will be cosponsored by the civic and the New York Daily News, will feature Democrat Grace Meng, Republican Dan Halloran, and Green party candidate Evergreen Chou, all running for NY-6. Democrat Joe Addabbo and Republican Eric Ulrich, fighting for state Senate District 15, are also scheduled to debate.
