Scott Stringer Endorses Vallone in Race for Halloran's Seat

Manhattan borough president and city comptroller throws his weight behind Flushing attorney.

Manhattan Borough President and city comptroller candidate Scott Stringer has endorsed Paul Vallone in the race for Dan Halloran’s City Council seat.

Vallone, who bested his four Democratic opponents in the September primary, will face off against Republican Dennis Saffran in the Nov. 5 general election.

“Paul Vallone’s commitment to his community proves he is the most qualified candidate for the City Council,” Stringer said. “We share the same dedication to improving quality of life issues for New Yorkers. I know Paul will restore integrity to the Council seat and proudly serve the constituents of the 19th Council District.”
