Rozic, who could not immediately be reached for a comment, had said her would include health care, campaign finance reform and improvements to local schools.

The 25th Assembly seat became vacant earlier this year after Rory Lancman, D-Fresh Meadows, decided to run for the Sixth Congressional Seat after U.S. Rep. Gary Ackerman, D-Bayside, announced that he would retire. He was defeated in the Democratic primary for that seat by Assemblywoman Grace Meng, D-Flushing.
