Rozic Receives Committee Assignments

State Assemblywoman will serve on five committees, including Labor and Environmental Conservation.

State Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, D-Fresh Meadows, said she has been chosen to serve on five committees in the Assembly that are all relevant to the northeast Queens communities she represents.

Rozic, who took office last month, will sit on the Assembly’s Children and Families, Corporations and Public Authorities, Corrections, Environmental Conservation and Labor committees.

“These committees span issues relevant to the communities of eastern Queens and build off of policy expertise I have developed over the years,” she said. “There is much work to be done to keep our economy and our communities thriving and I am committed to working both in Albany and in the community to further our interests.
