Queens Toy Drive Will Focus on Sandy Victims

This year's borough-wide toy drive will focus on communities hit hard by October's hurricane.

Queens Borough President Helen Marshall said last week that this year's Queens holiday toy drive will focus on communities impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

Many residents in southern Queens communities lost everything during the storm, and have had to focus on rebuilding their lives rather than preparing for the holiday season.

Marshall urged residents who want to contribute to bring an unwrapped toy to the second floor reception area of Queens Borough Hall, which is located at at 120-55 Queens Blvd. in Kew Gardens
